Mosaic Tile Art Everywhere… Philadelphia Magic Gardens

Being new to the area, I was, and still am, always looking for something fun and interesting to do close to home. I came across this gem of a place, it’s a mix of my love for art, colour and creativity. The Artist Isaiah Ziglar, created this amazing place and this is his largest and is a permanent exhibition. This is also a Non-Profit organisation.

I visited the gardens for the first time in 2014, and to date, am still in awe. I look at the pictures over and over and tell everyone I meet to visit.

There is no way you could miss the gardens as you can see the tiles from almost a mile away. With bottles, glass pieces and tiles protruding, there is no way you can miss it.

Through the crowded entry way, after standing in a line for a few minutes, you are greeted by this long wall of tile art. Not only is every corner, wall and any large surface area covered, so is the ground. The artist has covered every inch of this place in tile art.

There are many different areas to walk through, all covered in tile art. With many great photo opportunities, places to sit and little tunnels to walk through.

I believe this is definitely a place that should be on everyone’s list when visiting Philadelphia.

  1. So impressive! Would love to visit when in Philadelphia. Would you by any chance know if this is a permanent exhibition (seems like it)?
